Here at Century Next of Ashley County, we consider our employees family… and our family is growing! We want to introduce you to new faces at the bank who recently joined our CNext family.
First, Emily Fluker is working as a Universal Banker, at our main office in Crossett, Arkansas. She is currently a senior at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Emily is originally from Shreveport, Louisiana and moved to Arkansas with her family about two years ago. She grew up doing dance and had the privilege of dancing with the Moscow Ballet. She met her wonderful husband of three years, Garrett, while they lived in Shreveport. Together they have five dogs: Avery, Trudy, Bogie, Agadore, and Adamire. She really enjoys working at Century Next Bank, and she says that her favorite thing here is her coworkers because they have become her second family.
Next, Alex Friedman has also joined us as a Universal Banker at our main branch in Crossett. Alex is originally from Ruston, Louisiana, but has lived in Crossett for two years. He is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas in Monticello and plans to further his education in Pharmacy. Alex is involved at Grace Christian Fellowship Church of Crossett. He enjoys playing video games when he’s not at school, studying, or working. His favorite place to eat in town is JB Wings. This is Alex’s first experience working for a bank, and he likes working at CNext because he said the atmosphere is “chill.”
Haley Chavis joined the team as Employee & Community Engagement Coordinator for Arkansas in June. Haley is a lifelong resident of Ashley County. She resides in Hamburg with her husband Timmy, who is employed at Georgia Pacific. Together they have two children, son Carson who is 12, and daughter Callie who is 10. She is a member of Gardner Baptist Church and helps teach Awana Puggles at First Baptist Church of Hamburg.
Haley previously worked as the Executive Director for the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce where she planned multiple events and worked with local businesses to support the town of Hamburg. Haley also worked for First Step and Discovery as the school nurse. She is very involved in the community. She is on the Ashley County Fair Board and the director for the Ashley County Fair pageants, World Famous Armadillo pageant, and Hamburg Holidays pageant. Haley serves as Vice President of the PIE committee for Noble & Allbritton Elementary School in Hamburg. In Haley’s spare time she enjoys camping and trips with her family. Haley worked for Farmers Bank in Hamburg after high school as a teller. Haley, is enjoying working at CNext with the opportunity to be involved in the community daily again. She loves our small town community and how we always pull together.
We are so happy to have these three as part of our growing Century Next family.
